what is it about the 686 that everybody wants one?

I know this overstates thing, but when I was a kid having an annual physical, the subject of sex came up, specifically, orgasm. I naïvely asked the doctor how would know when it happened? He said he couldn't describe it to me, but I'd just know. I could describe a 686, but try one instead. You'll just know.

Seriously! Several threads in the past couple weeks on the 686 and gp100 - including mine.

I searched locally and struck out. If you look at my previous posts youll find the details, but I ended up getting one from Cali and having it sent to A1. The shop in Cali has more.

It is a 629-2 .44 Mag "Mountain Revolver". The bottom one is a 617 22LR.
