Although my carry gun is a little Kahr P9, my favorite weapon is my S&W 686. It's super accurate and just fun to shoot. I try to get to the range at least once a week with it. I've started to reload .38 because I'm putting so many rounds through it.

686 is fun to shoot - if you get a chance try a 460 - shoots 45LC, 454 casual and the 460. It goes bing, bang, boom!

A 686 was my first handgun. You really can't go wrong with them and if you do decide to sell they hold their value well. I currently have a 686+ with a 6 inch barrel and would love to add a 4 inch model to the collection.

Good luck finding one for your collection.

Christian Soldier on Harford Rd has a nice one with wooden grip and 6" barrel, provided you want to business with that knucklehead, that is.

    I think Clyde's has one with a 4" barrel.

Thanks for the input everyone! I would really like to try and spend the money locally...hoping an IP can come through.

    Thanks
