    Hi,

Yesterday I spotted a Ruger 10/22 (model 11187) that looks so beautiful that I almost want to buy it right then. But my better sense told me to hold off, just to research a bit first.

I already own a 10/22 takedown (the synthetic polymer stock) and really like it.

Will that be safe to assume that this model 11187 will be pretty much the same quality and performance with no surprise. No issue or kinks.

I do notice this model does not have the barrel band (and make it even more appealing and also a new style carry bag)

    * But I do wish Ruger did not put that ruger logo in the stock, kind of ruin the beauty of the rifle

I've seen it in person and did not care for it. Struck me as gaudy. I say that as a 10/22 fan who owns several traditionals and takedowns.
