Yes, but you'll want to meet up with the group on "P" st. before heading down.:innocent0

P.S. Don't forget your (assless) chaps. I hear they are big with that crowd.:evilgrin3

BTW all chaps are assless. Its the basic definition of chaps. Else they'd just be called assless pants.

After some deliberation, I have decided not to do this ride.
Saturday went to the Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery.

Today went to DC and grabbed a photo of the Fire Dog Memorial.

Still up for joining anyone riding tomorrow (just not in DC).

We ride down about every year. Not to participate in the parade, but to see the Memorials. We go down Rt.29 through Silver Spring and ride down through Rock Creek Park. Beautiful ride.

We visit the Memorials then catch about the first hour of the parade, then split.

    I'm the second bike in.

I posted a bunch of pictures of this years visit to the WWII Memorial in the "Memorial Day" thread in the Water Cooler if anyone is interested.

If you have never gone to Rolling Thunder and you like motorcycles, it is very much worth going to see once. If Memorial Day means more to you than just bikes (like it does for me), it can be an emotional day.
