    Folks.

I finally got my C&R after sending my application in back in late December 2012.

I know this question has probably been asked a million times, but which historical artifact should I buy first? I already own a couple of 91/30s and an M44. I'd really like a K38, but my bank account may not be big enough to buy a German model.

I'm looking for something with history and I can tie to a time when it may have seen some military service.

    I also love the M1903.

    Thanks.

It's hard to go wrong. If you like Mausers but don't want to pay for a K98, maybe a Yugo 24/47? I'd like to have an '03 too, and was looking hard at one of those and an M48A at Shooter's Discount, but opted to hold off for now.
