A co-worker has the G2C and has loved it for years. Was his carry gun. Then he bought the G3C and passed the G2C to his wife. Said the trigger and small changes of the G3C were even better.

Just looking for experience of this gun for concealed carry- In my pockets. I want something small and light.

    Chambering: 9x19mm
    Capacity: 12+1
    Barrel length: 3.25 inches
    Overall length: 6.25 inches
    Overall height: 5 inches
    Overall width: 1.25 inches
    Unloaded weight: 21.15 ounces
I had one for years that I used in IDPA. I never had a problem with it. I was carrying a Para Ord .45 at the time as I wasn't sold on 9mm at the time.

I hope you've got big pockets. Those dimensions seem to be at the the outer limits for pocket carry. I thought about pocket carry for my CSX and it was a big no go for me. Here a comparison of the two.

I have the G3C. It’s ok. Trigger is light with an ok break but has a mile long take up. It also has a second strike feature that I haven’t needed to use.
It’s not a small pocket pistol. It’s bigger than my Glock 26 with a 12 round mag. Just as thick (feels even thicker).
Grip stippling is really aggressive - which can be an advantage.
Initially had feeding issues with JHPs. This was fixed by a really good polishing of the feed ramp.
G3C came with 3 mags (12 rounders that were pinned).
I remember it was $300ish when I got it 2 years ago.

Just putting this out there: Taurus currently has a $50 rebate on the purchase of a new GX4 (https://www.taurususa.com/rebate).

I’m not sure where you are, but I was able to purchase a GX4 for $310 before taxes and the rebate. Post-rebate will put me around $270 for my GX4. At the price on Bud’s, you’d have an extra $50 in extra FFL fees, which would end up costing more than the GX4.

I have two GX4s and I absolutely love them. The GX4 can take Glock 42/43 sights as well, so I’m rocking the TruGlo sights on mine.

G3C TORO is about $399. I like it. However, I like my Shield Plus better. I shoot better with Shield Plus. It is so strange how that can be when you have similar material and mechanism. It is like saying Honda Accord driving better than Toyota Camry; they will both drive you from point A to point B with music/AC/Heating/cruise control and brakes.

A good pocket gun would be a snub nose 38. If you really mean “pocket gun” in the sense it won’t be holstered, but just in your pocket, then I wouldn’t get a striker fired handgun - way too easy for an ND in my book (I’m sure it’s been done, but that’s not within my comfort zone).

A new snub nose 38 is probably around $400 or so.

Please recommend a good pocket gun. Under $300

Ruger LC9 or EC9s. The EC9s is a budget model, but not a lot different other than sites and a few cuts. And you save a lot. Around $290+ for the EC9s.

I was never terribly accurate with it outside of 7 yards, but it's thin and light.
I'm just shy of 6'2" (after a few decades of shrinking) and could carry it in my front pocket with the right dockers. Need a thin kydex or similar holster.
I had the original LC9 with the long and heavier trigger... no ND gonna happen with that thing. The newer models have lighter triggers. You can get with or without a safety, if memory serves. There have been a few iterations.
