I bought it used. I think it may have been abused by someone home gunsmithing without knowing what they're doing.
That's a horse of a different color.... maybe a hot reload like double what it should have been.

My most recent regrettable firearms purchase would be a S&W M&P10 when I really wanted a SCAR 17s. After getting the SCAR, I promptly sold the M&P10. It was a good rifle, but I just didn't like it.
Browning Buckmark Camper. Not only did I find .22 semi auto pistols to be tediously dull to shoot, the darn thing would rust if you thought about it. The gun required regular oiling just to avoid surface rust.
One of the worst pistols I've ever fired.Bought an FN 45 Tactical in FDE. It was the pistol a dreamed about for months. When I finally got it I could not hit the side of a barn with it. I'm sure it's a great gun just not for me.
Mine was a knock off Tokarev/Makarov in 9mm; and first gun I bought (could afford) as a young sailor.
This thing would jam more often than not and even jammed a round in the barrel once. I cant remember what I paid for it but never trusted it.
Note the high quality spring clip holding the slide/stop pin!
That Century Arms replica of the Vz58 and that silly Hipoint .380 rifle.
The vz2008's trigger failed to reset after nearly every shot while literally falling apart in my hand while the hipoint 3895 was just a shitty gun all around that made me want to stay away from pistol caliber carbines for a while at the time.
You must have gotten a lemon. My vz2008 has been trouble free for 4 years and thousands of rounds.
Definitely got a lemon. Even the handguard and grip were falling apart as I was shooting.
