So went out and heated the bullets 4 minutes at 140 and nothing stuck. I could hold them but the felt hot or warm. Heated 4 minutes at 180 to 200 and into the container for a swirl and all the got was a light blue ring to them. They were hot enough that I couldn’t hold them and the powder won’t stick still.
I was shaking the container so vigorously I split the side of it. That’s why I got powder all over the towel in the kitchen

I can thinking of just deer fat lubing and seating the gas checks load a few for 2000 FPS and see if I get leading or not. The gas check should prevent right? Maybe I’ll hit cast boolets and ask.
Damn this is frustrating. Getting out the pan lub, I'm going to load some naked GC bullets and play with that.
Okay with my new found success. I coated some more, or another pan, with David’s powder and it was good.
I took the bullets I had in the garage and brought them in and used my powder and non stickage. The very same container. Maybe the bullets had some humidity? Maybe I need to measure the powder, a bit much came out. It seems a bit clumpy or self adhering like sugar does. I had to shake the container as it was like a clump in there.
I left the bullets and powder open on the kitchen island to dry until lunch. Maybe use a spoon to measure powder? Maybe humidity is in my powder?
