I’ll call that pistol McDonalds
Cuz I’m lovin it

I took it out last week and ran some rounds through it. Feels a little more vulnerable to limp wristing than my factory 17, but that seems to be going away as I break it in. No other complaints, lock back was solid and consistent.I’ll call that pistol McDonalds

Finished this a few weeks ago and was finally able to test it out yesterday, well over 100rds with no issues.
All stock 17 w/ Vickers slide, probably will change out a few things and use the stock on the build I’ll do for my wife, and a full on aftermarket build will be in the works for the 23 I want as a companion to the 2k.
Needless to say I’m very pleased with it, I hate to have favorites, but this one was just a pleasure to run some rounds through. My wife likes it so much she gave the go to build her one and she was well set on another ppq in the family.
If I had gotten an FDE lower, that Vickers slide is nice. That's a good 1st range session.
Check to make sure the spring is resting in the right place? I mean, it could be hand position, but you're enough of a shooter that I doubt that's the case.Well slide stop keeps engaging and ideas?

You can already get legit Glock frames for $50 each + $40 flat shipping.Saw on Instagram that Poly 80 is releasing the serualized 100% frames. They are cheaper than the 80% frames since no jig and tooling.

Finished my "Not-a-Glock" 17 today.
Slide and slide internals are all from Brownell's. Barrel is Glock.
LPK from Glock Store. (I'm a little ticked off. They did not include the magazine catch spring in the kit.)-
All holes lined up and are tight and straight.
Did a dry-fit of the rails and slide, and it was a little snug and dragging in a couple of spots.
A quick trip to NAPA and came back with some valve lapping compound and some of the "copper lube" (copper anti-seize) that Glock puts on their pistols.
After cycling the slide 100 times, cleaned and re-did the lapping compound two more times, 100 cycles each time.
Cleaned it up, put some "copper lube" on it as I assembled it, and it's as slick as snot on a doorknob.
Will probably take a trip to the range on Saturday, to see how it shoots.
This could get addictive.
(GRAY is next.)
Sorry 'bout the backdrop. It's the dog's bed.
