I thought about doing that, requested a vacation day!

And you won't have to worry that your boss will see you on the news.

I am still not sure of what to say to my delegate, but I will try!

It is a little scary if you aren't used to coming down to Annapolis and talking with the critters. There'll be a few sessions going on to help guide you through the process but the second most important thing is to politely let your senator and delegates know how the upcoming legislation will a affect you personally and why you support or oppose a particular bill.

The first important thing?

If you cannot get down to the rally, you can still call and write to your legi-critters. An office visit is good but a well written, snail mailed letter or a phone call can also be effective.

There will be plenty of opportunities during the session to come down to 'Naptown and make your voice heard. Show up and testify at a hearing or three for a real treat.
