...and in case there's any doubt as to BWW's policy:

(Criminals and mass murderers take note! Buffalo Wild Wings is a SAFE ZONE for anyone wishing to commit a robbery or a mass murder!)

I put this post up because I live in a decidedly "anti-gun" state. I grew up in Maryland and remember sitting at a local sub shop around 30 years ago with my Dad and there was a guy at the counter with a 38 in a holster on his waist. I nodded to my Dad to point it out and he said, "be glad he is in here, he's a cop and we can eat in peace". I thought, "cool". BWW is no loss for me, because their wings suck anyway.

BWW is anti-gun, period. Despite that fact that I could eat there and they'd never know, I'll not support a company that does not support my rights.

There was a big Facebook campaign against them for this policy a few weeks prior to Sandy Hook. I was posting on there daily up until then, and even posted a "guns free zone really helped these kids" message the day of.

Yes, they are vehemently anti-gun, thank goodness I've only eaten at one in my life. (Ironically it was is Chicago)

“… There is no reason why those officers should have been asked to leave … police officers are always welcome in my establishment and even though we do have a no gun policy, as a company that excludes off duty police officer,” Lupton wrote. “As a company we are community oriented. We appreciate everything that police officers do for us.”

Only Military and Police should have hot wings.

    Serious?
It's a private company... Big deal...
Airports and courthouses ban guns also will you stop going there?
We can't bring many of our guns out of state for protection so I guess all of you are stuck in Maryland. I think we need to concentrate our energy on things that matter....
This is a freaking restaurant! Who cares... You want wings secure your gun.
The police incident sounds like it was a mistake...
Don't want to put the gun away then get papa johns wings (yuck)

@Mauiwowie we are talking about LEO's in this article and not civilians. LEo's can always carry their weapon even in a court house. You are comparing apples to oranges. And private business policy does not trump federal law.

Some places we cannot avoid, but if I know you go out of your way to trample my rights and the DUTY of LEOs, then I will not support your business.
