How long did it take for them to process your application ?
I submitted my application in early March.
Wow that long! This is really an awful state in some ways

I got mine 207 days after I applied. It came in the mail 7 weeks after my FtoF meeting.

Knows this is a Maryland thread,though this is not a Maryland permit question..it's a Virginia nonresident concealed carry permit..I sent my packet to Virginia State Police certified mail..recieved the green card back on 17 September 2012 and recieved a letter 19 September 2012 they recieved my money order..has not yet heard back nor recieved anything else as of yet from the state of Virginia..has seen different sites state they issue after 45 days..which I am about 6 days away from being 45 days..any input from others here..??

To my post..just checked my letter issued by the Virginia State Police that says,10 to 12 weeks I will know..did Virginia State police get backlogged by out of state permit apps..??

From what I have read for VA if they do not send it to you within 45 days, you can contact the office and they are supposed to give you a copy of the date stamped application you sent in and you can carry that as your permit until they have a final disposition for you case.

I think this is only for resident permits.
Resident permits are issued by the Distinct Court clerks. VSP issue NR permits.
