And I'll add, not to mention while people were being arrested over a period of minutes, creating a much bigger potential driver "distraction," I didn't see anyone directing traffic or worried about it at all on the video.

But I do see someone with a HUGE sign crossing the street and walking back and forth on the public sidewalk while Jeff stands in handcuffs.

Holy crap. Just getting caught up on recent events.

I am going handwrite letters and make calls county and state officials but want to specifically cite facts, but:

1. is there an video yet of the event that I can refer them to, and
2. is there a factual play-by-pay summary of the events and the charges (e.g. location, arresting officer, dialogue, and offenses)

One question, has the media been made clearly aware the guys were issued additional citations yesterday on the scene of where they had just finished speaking to a news crew and doing an interview? I wouldn't want that to get buried in the thread pages here. A lot of the media might not really like gun rights advocates, but none of them like to hear things like that.

Why didn't they issue citations to the media who were standing next to the PP?

A question to ask later on if it comes down to it, is in the years he has been Chief, how many trespassing citations has he gone out of his way to write himself? I will go with this is the very first time. Because. Retaliation.

Why didn't they issue citations to the media who were standing next to the PP?

As I understand it the citations were not for being there that day, they were pile-ons adding additional charges for the original incident.

No one should be arrested/cited for exercising their First Amendment rights. Monday night’s incident was troubling, and the matter is being looked into. I do not have any direct authority over the DGS Police, but I have asked them to keep me updated on any developments that occur in the case.

You're wrong. Kathy is a D, but pro-2A. My dad has worked with her on a few things in the past, and I can say she is not just a party line voter.

You are definitely welcome to make your own sign but please limit it to slogans pertaining to the 1A as we want to be laser focused on this issue on Monday.
