    All over the dang state
"Out of a concern for public safety, and in an abundance of caution due to two pedestrians being being stuck by vehicles in the last year, and nearly a half dozen reported pedestrians complaints concerning vehicles failing to yield to pedestrians in the crosswalk, the demonstrating group was asked to relocate to Lawyers Mall."

Completely unrelated to the actions of the PP. How do they justify this to themselves??

I know there was no gun. You know there was no gun. The dems know there was no gun.

They are spreading the story anyway.

    Pretty much.

It doesn't surprise me, that some type of misinformation would be spun - but one so easily disproved, so quickly, wow.

Light up social media on this. And call it what it is:
    #CivilRights violation

A comparison to Selma might not be out of order.

Let's flip the script on the Fascists.

Talk about trying to control the narrative "One had a gun", is this in print somewhere? Sounds like a lawsuit needs to be filed. This isn't true is it? I can't image PP brings a firearm to such an event.

What if (and this was not the case) one of our members that have a permit were to be arrested for the same thing while carrying? The times that I have made it to one of the PP events, I have always carried (legally).

In may experience this happens when a FUBAR happens, and a whole lot of heat has occurred. They are simply trying to put the fire out. We need to rally, and get a bill written so we can enter facts and be heard by our law makers.

Believe there's a prohibition on carry at organized events/rallies/demonstrations?

No idea if the PP would be considered 'organized', as I take that meaning as going thru the hoops to get permits. Simply put, when poking the bear in this state, I'd look at other options.

Talking with a Democrat lobbyist now. Email info is being disseminated as (not a quote) two people were arrested in Annapolis and one had a gun. They were arrested on lawyers mall and were disorderly and blocking traffic. The democrats are gleefully saying the right to carry is now dead in Annapolis because of the violence and the unsavory characters and unprofessional appearance of the protesters. Also the protesters don't follow the rules.

Democrats are following the liberal mantra. Vilify the opposition, lie about the facts, belittle the opposition. The lobbyist knows my views on the issue and thinks I was not aware of the issue. I could not get any information on the source of the emails or alleged news report. The Democrat spin should be expected but the interesting part is that the incident is being talked about a lot already and spreading quickly.
The ripples in the pond are becoming waves.

"...unsavory characters and unprofessional appearance of the protesters..."?

    WTF does that mean?

Regarding the gun issue, bear in mind that none of the other PP members were searched for weapons. I'd have thought that finding one gun would have brought the full weight of the police down on us in
order to determine if we were a threat to the community.

With 6 officers and 2 canines in response including cruisers with flashing lights blocking traffic during the entire event, wouldn't it have made more sense to send 1 officer to man the crosswalk to ensure public safety while still maintaining everyone's civil rights?:innocent0

The police were looking for guns , don't kid the reason for the confrontation last night / They were playing their cards and come up short .

Who would be the person to do that ?

That the PP has seriously gotten under the skin of anti-2A lobbyists and politicians. The move to arrest two of the PP regulars and interfere with their 1A rights on a public sidewalk claiming it was for vehicular safety (lol) is proof of this.

Everyone takes their own path in this fight. What's good for you may not work for anyone else.

But everyone must do their part, whatever it is, however large or small. One well placed action or email or post might be the one that finally breaks the criminal cabal running this state.
