It says Background Check Required: Handgun YES, Long NO.... I went though the NICS for my long gun... isn't that a background check?

They qualified it in the small print in red.
"licensed dealer or Police"

Thereby leaving out legal in state face to face sales of long guns and illegal sales of handguns.
