What was the result their concerns?

They wanted to send us to a corner a block away. Jeff said no. They said OK. And we assembled on a corner near the entrance. All good.

They started to talk about where the they, the Annapolis Police Department, wanted to “place us”.

However, I turned the conversation back to the idea that we were going to seek out the most advantageous place to engage attendees when they arrive – – which obviously meant we were not going to go where it was considered “convenient” for us to be.

We picked our position. It puts us right at the attendee check-in area.

Did they also offer to buy materials and hire labor to paint your posters and hold them for you? lol.
