Wtf? A fee on pet food? What's next - a fee equal to the price of the car on any new auto purchases to buy cars for those who cannot afford them?

HAHAHAHAHA, it really is amazing. The lack of personal responsibility in this great state is so sad.

man I just love this state...

also realized in reading the articles that "cop-killer" bullets will no-longer be legal to use during the commission of a crime. thank god for that! (actually at first I thought it banned possession outright. phew. another worthless amendment.)

    :sarcasm:

Bullet law is just something else for Valario to plea out for his customers.

    Signed - SB281
Sealed - his faith in NOT make thru next Democrat Presidential nomination...
Delivered - Next Republican President whoever will be...:D

    Signed, Sealed, Delivered..

I would almost rather he were president as his backup plan is likely to be US senator.

Once the bill is signed the lawsuits can be filed....

Can't wait for Patrick's post with pdf-ey goodness about this suit. I hope it's out sooner rather than later.

Ahh Yes, "The Free State". I have lived here almost all of my life, grew up near Glen Echo, and my blood boils as I look around this state, at how the Democrat party has just destroyed it. Rain tax, gun laws, Wheaton might as well be Mexican territory..... and on and on. The State Government has totally lost it's legitimacy. The local government did long ago....I can't decide, Fight or Flight?? I have opposed these creeps for years, and I don't think there are enough of us to ever make a difference again. It amazes me that a good portion of the original 13 colonies have become little anti freedom Communist bastions. I have ancestors that signed the declaration, fought in the revolution, and were here long before there was an America. All of the sacrifices evidently were in vain. All the sacrifices under all of the crosses in Arlington (and every other military cematry) were in vain also. I think I feel my heart breaking for Maryland, and for America. F*ck OMalley, and F*ck all of the treasonous bastards that spit in our faces every day, and every way.

What a tool. O'Malley never fails to do the bidding of the extreme left wing Lib'tards.
I bought three AR lowers just because of this ass hats legislation.
If I could afford to move out of this state I would.

I wasn't going to read the article, but curiosity got me about the pet food tax.

Talk about stupidity. If somebody cannot afford to have their dog spayed/neutered, did the General Assembly ever think that maybe those people should NOT have a dog. Before obtaining a pet, a person should have to apply for a permit and prove they have the financial means to take care of said pet. If they are receiving any type of welfare, they should not be allowed to have a pet. I know several people on welfare that have more than one dog. Something is seriously wrong with this picture. If people in the legislature cannot understand this, they are retarded. Never mind, I already know that they are retarded. Might as well start doggy welfare too. Tax the dog food even more, so those that cannot afford to feed their pets can obtain dog food stamps.

I am hoping the steam will eventually stop coming out of my ears.

We should all get an unregulated .22 pistol with a silencer. That will make the streets safer for our children ;)

    I'll note the following:

    - O'Malley promised a Gun Control signing ceremony to all his Dem sycophants that would include Obama, so they could hobnob and get photos and feel important. He got nothing.

Colorado and New York got VIP visits. So did Connecticut and Delaware. Also, Michelle Obama was in Bowie today, and Obama was in Baltimore. This was not a "scheduling issue" - this is a deliberate avoidance of the signing.

O'Malley got nothing, which also happens to equal his standing in the latest New Hampshire poll on presidential contenders: 0%. Did you know that in that NH poll, newly elected Senator Elizabeth Warren actually scored higher than O'Malley and Cuomo combined?

Gun Control kills (elections). Hell, even Obama wouldn't go there until he literally had no more elections ahead of him. The funniest things I heard this last session were Democrats talking about how Gun Control was going going to be a good thing for O'Malley in 2016 because "Obama is talking about it, so it must be OK now."

I would always ask back, "Do you really think O'Malley is in Obama's league? Do you really think people will follow O'Malley like they did Obama?"

The answer was typically one that included an "Oh Sh!t" face. It was funny and sad at the same time, being there the moment they realized that a lot of what Dems got these last years is about the cult of Obama, and not about anyone else.
