One fluorescent fixture was good, but two is better.
I have a couple of flourescents in that room, but one is hanging directly over the reloading bench. As cheap as they are, I might have to see about hanging another one up there - it might be overkill, but then again, I'll definitely be able to see what's going on in the reloading process.

One thing to watch, some people have had problems with fluorescents and digital scales.

never too much light. might i suggest a peg board or shelves for scale at eye level

Thought about the pet board. Had the plywood on hand. I'll just put nails in that to hang stuff from.
    Thanks for the suggestion though.
I might hang one after all on the wall behind my stool...

Just finished another 20 rounds. And I finally got my 50 posts!

Not that anything could possibly go wrong...but before you make like 500 rounds...take a couple to the range and make sure that they chamber, and that there are no over pressure (extracting) issues. Nothing worse than having to disassemble a lot of ammo...
I know that you are on a roll and all...

    Just sayin'

You can never have too many pair of safety glasses either! ;)
Safety glasses are always a good thing. The good Lord only gave me 2 eyes, and I plan on keeping both of them as long as I can. :)

Just remember- If it can't be fixed with a hammer..... it ain't broke!!!
Heheheh - and if you'll notice, I have several rolls of various kinds of tape hanging from the upper left above the main workbench - a hammer, screwdriver, pliers/vise grips and duct tape, and you can fix all kinds of things. :D

Ra66it, good stuff on that reloading. One day you'll look up and you'll have been doing it for several years with a few thousand rounds under your belt. :)

Safety glasses are a VERY good thing.

Over on Snipers Hide, a guy was testing firing a newly built rifle and almost lost an eye.

Any body ever use rope lights? Just thinking of my lack of space. I like the clamp on idea. Has anyone seen one of the old style clamp ons with a magnifier in the center any place? Need all the help I can get.

I've got one of those clamp-on magnifier lights on my bench!!!!!!!

The light isn't as bright as I'd like to have, now, but, it helps.

I've got two 'shop lights' (2 tube flourescent lights) in my shop, plus a couple of the clamp-on lights clamped to the joists above my bench.

I'm finding that the older I get....... the more light I need!

Heck, I even walk around with a small LED flashlight in my sweatpants.

I keep wondering how long it's going to be, before I have to put a white cane w/ red tip on my cars and around the workshop!!!
