I just hung a 4' cheap flourescent shop light over my bench - seems to do ok, but I like the idea of having a directible spotlight.
One fluorescent fixture was good, but two is better.

I have a couple of flourescents in that room, but one is hanging directly over the reloading bench. As cheap as they are, I might have to see about hanging another one up there - it might be overkill, but then again, I'll definitely be able to see what's going on in the reloading process. One fluorescent fixture was good, but two is better.
Couple of pics of my shop: (yeah, it's kind of a mess, but it gets the job done ok.)
never too much light. might i suggest a peg board or shelves for scale at eye level
I like a man with a plethora of hammers....
My dad would keep a claw hammer where ever he might need one. Basement, garage, attic, outdoor shed, car trunk, etc.I like a man with a plethora of hammers....
Just finished another 20 rounds. And I finally got my 50 posts!
Safety glasses are always a good thing. The good Lord only gave me 2 eyes, and I plan on keeping both of them as long as I can.You can never have too many pair of safety glasses either!
Heheheh - and if you'll notice, I have several rolls of various kinds of tape hanging from the upper left above the main workbench - a hammer, screwdriver, pliers/vise grips and duct tape, and you can fix all kinds of things.Just remember- If it can't be fixed with a hammer..... it ain't broke!!!
Any body ever use rope lights? Just thinking of my lack of space. I like the clamp on idea. Has anyone seen one of the old style clamp ons with a magnifier in the center any place? Need all the help I can get.
