If she's like any of the women I know, she won't want to handle the corpses. And a .950 JDJ, I'm pretty sure there'd be no corpses left around after impact.
It doesn't matter wether publics or private and yes it is still considered hunting.
I didn't write the law and I never really cared to look into it because FMJ doesn't give the effect that I like.
If I had to guess the law was made To effectively defeat the target with less chance of it running away and dieing somewhere else or wounding a coyote and it bites someone,less chance of incapacitation with FMJ.. That's just my guess
I used to use a .22 WMR, but too many crawled away before dying. Now I use a .223 SPR with 50 or 60 grain varmint bullets. I have also taken a couple with a .308.
