.17 HMR have taken 36 this year up to about 200 yards. Very accurate and very effective.
Put a 3x12 on it and down they go.

    .950 JDJ

If she's like any of the women I know, she won't want to handle the corpses. And a .950 JDJ, I'm pretty sure there'd be no corpses left around after impact.

    Is varminting considered "hunting?"

Also, what are the stipulations about shooting on farmground that is considered private property?
It doesn't matter wether publics or private and yes it is still considered hunting.

I didn't write the law and I never really cared to look into it because FMJ doesn't give the effect that I like.

If I had to guess the law was made To effectively defeat the target with less chance of it running away and dieing somewhere else or wounding a coyote and it bites someone, less chance of incapacitation with FMJ.. That's just my guess
