    The white hair lady is attached to Demarco at the hip. I held the door for her in Annapolis when I was down there. I may not like their stance one bit, but that doesn't make me any less of a gentleman.

    You may indeed be a gentleman but I will reserve judgement on whether or not she is a lady.

    Good for you. I remember sitting in the box with the hens with SMH and finally told one of them even though we disagree on this, is no excuse to not treat each other with simple human dignity. She agreed and stopped the hissing. Lol

    She's with Mom's Demand Action or some such. All over the statehouse this year. Good for her. She liked to stand next to the gun people and hear what we were working. I made sure to speak up when she was around. It's not like there was a lot of secrets there - basically pile thousands of people into the building and show there is no support for more gun control unless you are a back-bencher presidential candidate or sycophant of the same.

    It's funny that after that, those astroturf groups had to walk around and say dumb things like, "I represent the silent majority."

    Silent == Not Showing Up

    DeMarco did that thing with the chairs on the lawn for the Governor's rally. All chairs read "reserved" and nobody was allowed to sit in them - this is to make the people bunch up in a tight space and then the photo makes it look like it was crowded. Things like that get noticed. The fact the chairs were there before the rally says they expected low turnout. The chairs (and the lawn they covered) were off limits, even for the older woman who supported the bill who told me she was too tired to stand. I helped her get something to sit on. She told me, "I expected more people."

    I winked and told her I was the Evil Gun Guy. She smiled and said I didn't look that evil. I guess next time I will have to work harder?

    Arranging the deck chairs ??? :innocent0

    A typical ploy to make an entertainment venue look more crowded than it is. Of course, they should have also played violins ...
