I can name a few. 1. deer drives. Takes no woodsmanship just more than one person. 2. Hunting over bait. Legal and used in many states by many hunters. Some of whom probably think cameras are an unfair advantage. 3. Hunting a field. Just sit and wait for the deer to come out in the evening. Zero woodsmanship needed.
I would disagree on point no. 3. Setting up on ambush requires a basic knowledge of the area, intel on recent deer movement, wind judgment and the ability to hit what you're aiming at. Starting to sound like an anti "...how hard could it be? they're everywhere". Every style of deer hunting has its own difficulties and nuances. A true hunter applies the technique that is required for a particular situation. It's your arsenal. An accumulation of knowledge gained through years of experience. Sermon over.
