I’m away on vacation, so, I can’t open my mail yet. I have 3 from 4’s submitted to the ATF. My form 1 was approved in 16 days. Is mail from them normal? Everything was submitted and certified through the Silencer Shop. Is this a good thing, or a bad thing? The suspense is killing me :banghead:

Somewhere between good news and horrible news... :)

Could be them rejecting/sending back for corrections to approved forms! Better cut that vacation short!

    C&R renewal?
That ship sailed a while ago, unless it’s good for 10 years
Who is holding your form 4 items? Local?
PSG…. I just called, they were no help
So, it’s not that. The only thing I can think of, is that I sent them an e-mail, adding an additional upper and responsible persons, for my SBR’s trust

Not really, if it was you’d have someone open it for you. Obviously you trusted them to bring it in.
The picture is from the Post Office's Informed Delivery program where they will email you pictures of the mail that you will be receiving usually that day or the next.

Did you have the upper engraved?
No, I just informed them of the additional upper, in 5.56mm. So they just acknowledged that it’s both 9mm and 5.56

Correct sir! I just had my neighbor open it for me.

Why would you have to engrave the upper or even notify the atf. As long as you can put it back in the registered format, you are gtg. Or am I wrong?
You can engrave an upper instead of a lower. There are some advantages to doing so.

Since he didn't serialize the upper, there was no real need to inform ATF unless we was permanently changing the caliber of an SBR.

I did not know that. So someone could register a SBR upper and put it on any non NFA lower? Kewl.
