I was surprised to see they shipped with a case, didn't expect that.
Haven’t ordered mine yet (BB Pawn displayed an HK SP5K one day prior to me going in to order the M1A and, well....), but is the included case actually big enough for the rifle and mounted scope combo? I’ve bought 4 different rifles in last 6 months that came with decent hard cases, 3 came with the exact same Flambeau or Plano type black hard case w/the bumpy interior foam - from Wyndham, Ruger, and Stag. Today got my HK SP5K pistol with an awesome HK Pelican style case. However, none of these cases are capable of stowing their respective weapon with an optic of any kind.

This kinda chaps me. If you don’t give me a case I can use after I setup the rifle the way 95% of the world uses the particular weapon, then just put the damn thing in a cardboard box. While they’re not Pelican cases, they’re not that bad. They honestly do make a decent deer hunting rifle/scope carrier. In fact I currently use 3 of those types already for my hunting rifles, and don’t need any more of them. They could be used pretty effectively on the weapon of origin if they just made them tall enough for the optic. End rant, my apologies.

Anyway - I’m still looking forward to picking one of these beauties up.

The one that came with my rifle should be sufficient for a scope. Airline approved I don't think so. It's a soft black padded case, fairly rigid has a couple of mag pockets on the exterior in a zippered compartment some more on the inside for other items.
Velcro loops and a trap for the muzzle not bad but probably made in china doubt Ill use it but was surprised to see it. I would have settled for a decent sling or a "match trigger" that doesn't have a second stage break like stepping on a wet dish rag. Sights however are tight with no excess gear lash and the f/s sight has a nice taper and gives a good picture.
I bought the one on the plain plastic stock because I'm cheap. Got a treeline on the way, I'm just happy to own one hopefully it works out wish it was a .30 cal so I do not have to buy a bunch more loading apparatus.
Worst part is I'm delayed, maybe I cleared by now probably see whats up tomorrow I bought in DE for a little over cost and no tax should have owned one years ago proof for me will be in the pudding from position and after I get it to my kids mill vice to check a few things out.
Maybe one day Ill put a scope on it but I shot well from standing tonight with irons at dusk with some other stuff that I put together last year so ill wait.
