I'll be mounting an ATN X-Sight II 5-18x by the end of the year, hopefully. Kind of a heavy SOB, though.

Those are nice! Never seen em before thanks. Mine is a cheap Voodoo Tactical one from Amazon. I want leather but they're $$$

I put the black Coyote on mine.

Had a helluva time figuring what height I needed.

I e-mailed Coyote, and the owner/maker said to use some pipe insulation (the round foam insulation) and cut a few strips and 'build' the height to get the right cheekweld.

He had several different sizes in stock, and after I determined what I needed, I ordered one, and it was in my mailbox in just a very few days.

I'll try to post up a pic of my M1A in the next couple of days.

I also got one from him, for my 700 SPS AAC-SD.

Good guy to do business with!!:thumbsup:

I passed the link along to a buddy who is also working on an M1A project. Thanks again! Mine is full of pipe insulation too. Good stuff!

To clarify, before I ordered, he said to use strips of pipe insulation to 'build' the cheekpiece up, for the right height, then measure from the top of the insulation, to the top of the comb.

I have no idea as to what Coyote puts inside of his cheekpiece(s).

The original owner of my M1A, had a leather cheekpiece that laced onto the stock. He kept it, when he sold the rifle to me.
He wanted it for another project gun.

It is a VooDoo Tactical cheek rest/riser. Takes some fitting but it works well.

Cool thanks! I love my M1A. Got it about 1 year before the no, no date. Was sold as a standard but, I call Springfield, read them the serial number and they said it was a loaded version. I lucked out big time. It shoots really good.

I am a left handed shooter but, it still fun to shoot.

    Thanks again for the info.
