    Boyd's has some nice stocks



    they make top notch stuff.

    they got their start making a lot of surplus rifle stocks, garand milpspec repros etc, obviously they've expanded since then, they have a ton of stuff now, but they definitely do good work.

    by all accounts great folks to deal with too.

    I got a 1912 Steyr Chilean Mauser that was rechambered to 7.62x51 in 1961 using an '03 A3 2-groove barrel, and it shoots pretty well. It has been around jungles of Chile for 100 years and you can see the years of war when you look at the stock. I got it for $130 and it is probably one that I'll never sell.
