    Ok so from the SGS that i have seen that does have more nicks then most that I have handled. That being said its still a 60 year old rifle in almost like new condition. Yes it does have a few nics the trigger guard the most noticable but......

    I would gladly put back a pristine example SGS for an LMR that is 1/0 regardless of nicks.

    You still need to do your stock prep before she's a good shooter though.
