I recently purchased a Remington New Police conversion revolver on GB and now am looking for some advice on parts. I knew it needed some repair when I bid on it, and don't intend to shoot it, but would like to get it functioning. I know I need a trigger/bolt spring, as well as a new cylinder advance hand (which should have the spring attached). I figure I also should go ahead and replace the mainspring as well, as the hammer drop is very light and some previous owner had inserted a wooden dowel between the spring and the frame to give it additional tension.

I wouldn't mind finding grips as well, but they are a lower priority.

I see all of these parts advertised for the standard 1858 Army and Navy revolvers, but can't tell if these parts are interchangeable with the smaller New Police. Or should I be looking for 1863 Pocket Revolver parts? Don't see any listings specifically for New Police parts.

Does anyone know which if any parts will interchange with the New Police? Repro are fine; I don't expect to find originals.
