The Prigel Family Creamery in Glen Arm is pretty damn good. Every thing made in house. Here is the address if you're interested..

4852 Long Green Rd, Glen Arm MD 21057

There is Cindy's Soft serve on Route 1 in Elkridge. Very good and not too expensive. Long lines on warm summer nights though.

Down in Columbia there is TCBY frozen yogurt. Excellent place but ungodly expensive.

Not really a "local flavor" thing, but we've gotten to like Bruster's quite a lot.

    As for Dinobite??

If my math is correct, it was started by a failed dentist who went to ice cream. Revenge?? Irony? WTF knows. But in any case it fell flat on its snout.

So Dinobites is in fact gone? My girlfriend will miss their Rum Raisin

The blueberry cobbler from Bruster's in Hollywood is the freaking bomb! Mmmmm so tasty. They don't have it all the time so I have to call to find out. LOL a couple of the managers have taken my number to call me when it comes in hehe.

Soft Stuff on Rt 40 about three miles east of the Rt 40/Rt 29 interchange. Will be closing after this season to move into a new strip mall (the Forest Diner is already gone).
