Where are you guys finding the best deal locally on .223 or .556 ammo?

Wal-mart has federal 100 round .223 box for $39, I just can't find any that have it in stock...

Any local sightings?

I was in Dick's Belair and Walmart Abingdon today. Walmart had a variety of .223 in 20 box and larger. Dicks' was just unloading a shipment . Their shelves were well stocked with all varieties and calibers. Plenty of .223, 9mm and .40 S & W. Some .38 special LRN, but no .357 mag and, alas, no .380.

I got that deal at the one on rt43, whitemash/perryhall. I would call first, I haven't been up there this week, but there were three box's left. (the three I couldn't afford)

I went to three wal-marts around my area and in DE.

All three said they have never seen that value pack before...

I have one more close by to try.

Go back down RT 40 to the Rt 43 ramp on the right, go past White Marsh Mall about 1 mile or so. Walmart is on the left up on top of the hill.

Dick's sporting goods in Gaithersburg always seems to have ammo in stock, especially .223 . I've bought Rem UMC's there recently for $9~ a box. They even had 9mm last time i was there.

I just talked to Dicks in de, they have remington .223 on sale until sunday 20 round boxes for $7 and some change, plus no sales tax...

or aimsurplus has .223 wolf for 4.60-5.25 before quick shipping.

Dicks in Hanover PA had 50 round boxes of Remington .223 for $19.98 per box earlier this week

I ended up picking up a few 100 round cases from Dicks.

Remington 55 .223 100 rounds for $79

Taking my new build to the range tomorrow....

Widener's has Wolf 55 gr 5.56 down to $5.39 /20 rounds. I don't think you had to buy bulk either.

go to md/va gun show. there was always a seller from pa who had fiocchi 1000rds for $320. shot around 1000 rds. no problem at all

Got some at Wally's on rt43 Friday. They still had about a dozen box's.

Not sure of the miles, from GC go west on 40 take 43 linke your going to 695. About 10min.
