I don't go to work without my knife. it has a window punch and seat belt blade for quick extraction if need be.

My Smith and Wesson 24/7 wore holes in countless pairs of jeans before I picked up my Buck 110. I wish they still sold them with the old leather sheaths, the nylon is nice and holds up great but my dads had an awesome leather sheath when I was a kid.

And he threw it out! :mad54:

Here's my work dog. It lives in the tool box in the back of my van. Its a foundling ... I think was on top of an electric panel under an inch of dust ... obviously long lost by its original owner. I've mistreated and abused it for years and it still looks like this.

    I like hairba111's blade

Because I don't have to entrust my life to them, I carry some inexpensive, easily replaceable but decent quality knives. Usually one of these two:
    Kershaw Clash
    Byrd (Spyderco) Raven

You know you could get a new blade or a new knife if you sent that in right?

I bought a surplus Leatherman probably 8 years ago at the State surplus warehouse. The tip was snapped off at the time. I sent it into Leatherman last year and they sent me a brand new one.

I have a leatherman wave I bought for a $1 at a yard sale with a broken blade . had no idea that they replace them . great info thanks

I was looking for the original paperwork because I remember seeing that. Didn't think to look on the net.:o

It does say there will be a charge for damage from misuse or abuse. They don't make the same model anymore either, so they would have to replace it, I guess. I kept it so long because it works and the tools aren't cheap/cheesy/flimsy.(unlike the blade)

Thanks for the link! :)
