Thanks for the update! I'm so glad that there were plenty that were saved. Too bad for the AR...they could have sold that anywhere and probably made bank during this time. So foolish of them...they cut their nose off to spite their face. Pretty typical behavior for emotionally subjective liberals though. I've come to expect nothing less of them now.

So a question has cropped on Facebook about the Laurel buyback. Since it was held at the armory that was across the street from a public elementary school, how does both the federal and state "gun free zone" laws work here?

I spoke to the Laurel Police Chief today and he thought it was only during the School session.

A little help to find the state and federal regulations?

I found the federal statute: 18 USC 922(q)

And I found the state statute: Criminal code 4-102
