Piece of garbage from what I can tell thus far. I intend to call Kimber and see what they have to say, and if they will send replacement parts.

8 Round .45 ACP Magazine for a 1911 that came with 2 floor plates, 2 different sized polymer bumpers, and 4 mounting screws for the bumpers. Paid approx $28 for one mag. Glad I only bought one.

The floor plates came unthreaded so the screws that came with it would not screw into the floor plate. The screws were not self tapping, and they were so soft that the threading just flattened out when I first tried to install a bumper.

I ended up tapping the floor plates myself using a 4-40 hand tap after watching a youtube video of a guy that had the same problem. A couple of the screw heads broke right off when I tried to mount the bumper as well. So...I went out and purchased some 4-40 screws and made it work, but wow Kimber really? I should have taken some pics of this disaster but I was so pissed off I couldn't wait to throw it away. :mad54:

Edit: Called Kimber about the floor plate issues, it must be a known issue. They are sending out a kit with replacement floorplates that are threaded and new screws at no cost.
