I took my newish 9mm kel-tec sub2000 (glock mag) to AGC in Marriottsville (while many were watching football) for about 300 rounds of fun. I shot it at 25 and 50 yards.
I used 10- and 33-round glock mags and an off-brand 33-round mag (to which I affixed a Mr Yuck sticker.)
The previously-discussed need to break in the spring seemed legit. I noticed it got slighly easier to pull the bolt as the session progressed.
However, I had numerous FTE's where the closing bolt pushed on the unejected case and jammed it above the chamber. I had some FTF also; there were a half-a-dozen times I had to drop the mag to clear issues.
Overall, it performed better that my short, first, session. It seems to be rather accurate. I think I'll stick with the stock sights and remove my kel-tec quad rail and my red dot.
Is there another briefcase-portable, non-regulated rifle? I saw a briefcase 308 for $$$$ and a two-piece lever gun.
Now that I have an unregulated Colt HBAR, I might sell the sub2000 if someone wants to pay the unreasonable Gunbroker price that I paid. (or you want a better deal, I just saw this: http://forum.pafoa.org/firearms-6/193777-kel-tec-sub2000-9mm-glock-mags-brand-new.html )
I'll take it out again and keep the break-in moving along. I like how it's quiet and recoils like a pussycat (compared to an AR or AK.)
