Thanks. For now it's a Truglo Trubrite optic. I will see how I like it an go from there. Next for this beast is a Silencerco Omega suppressor.

Looks good K9. Just bought an Omega for my blackout pistol last week. Reviews seem great , guess we will find out next summer !

7.5" is certainly cool, but don't expect it to be real practical.

If you want a shooter, go 10.5". If you want something silly and fun to take out and go bang, either will do.

My 7.5" Pistol is very accurate. It's not sub MOA but easily hits a 6 inch target at 100 yards. Hitting 18X18 inch steel at 200 is a breeze.

Finally finished my pistol build seems like it has been forever

    Anderson upper and lower
    Hogue pistol grip
YHM free float key mod hand guard
    Phase 5 pistol buffer tube
Troy folding iron sights for now
    YHM flash hider

Bought a Sig brace but decided to take it back off I will just be tempted to shoulder it

Now I need to figure out how to do paperwork to SBR it

Had free time this week so I put together my ks-47 pistol. Turned out a lot smaller than I was thinking it would be. I still need to make a few changes. I don't like the buffer tube and I hate the grip with a passion.

Here it is with my plr 16 just for a size comparison. Now just need to get some more 7.62x39 to go and break it in.

PSA matched upper receiver and their hybrid BCG too? Any friction between the bolt lugs and the mag feed lips when charging and cycling the action? Just wondering about tolerances and whether some of their lowers sit the mags a wee bit lower and avoid contact. Have the rifle from them, but thinking about a build.

Yes it is a blem lower with the pistol build kit. I have noticed slight wear on the one mag in the picture. It is a lil stiff but I figure its from new parts and I haven't lubed it up yet.

Pretty consistent with other users experience with the KS-47. Stick to PMAGs and you'll be fine.

Just finished this today. I decided to use enamel spray paint since it was just the furniture. Here's what I learned:

    1. NEVER paint the safety selector; huge mistake, paint got in the channel for the detent, had to clean it out, it was a mess.
    2. Enamel paints sticks well top aluminum hand guards.
    3. Enamel paint needs like three days to dry on plastic before you can handle it, O/W the paint rubs off.
    4. Small accessories made out of metal really need to be sanded down to bare metal - o/w enamel won't stick to it. Look at the KNS anti walk pins what ever the hell they're called in the pic, just about all the paint came off

But it turned ok. Still waiting on a KAK Flash can.

[EDIT - and the bolt is MPI/HPT - FWIW]

You know, I posted a pic of my AR pistol on another board that has eccentric upper crusty shooters who gave a tepid response to the notion of an AR pistol - I am sooo glad for MD Shooters. You all are the ones I want to hang out with.
