There will be no pistol stages or side events during the carbine match. All you will need is your rifle. There will be a sporting clays shoot at the club while the carbine match is in progress, I would encourage everyone to bring a shotgun and shoot a round of clays or 5-stand if they like. Also the club house will be open and the kitchen serving food for most of the day, just in case anyone works up an appetite running the course.

Trebark, I suggest you go buy a new pistol anyway, maybe we'll let you shoot it later this summer. See you at the range.

A 2 MOA rifle will be ok. The targets are pretty big and you have an unlimited number of shots to hit them. The only guys I saw struggle were the guys using the 10.5" and 12.5" barrels on the 300 yard shots.

Is the registration open on this match yet? Wife is filling up June fast w/ boring crap so I want to get this one on the calendar in pen ASAP.

Also, I'm trying to get two precision bolt-gunners to come out to this one and 'run and gun' with us.

This looks excellent. It appears that the running between stages will be a significant factor in over all score. I just shot the Precision match, although not with a great deal of precision. This looks like a fun match at a really nice club. Oh well 2 hrs isn't that long a drive.
