June Carbine Match @ Mayberry

Mark your calendars, our next carbine/semi-auto rifle match at Mayberry Game Protective Assoc. will be on Sunday June 5, 2011. Registration is NOT open yet, just giving everyone time to get this on their schedules. Details will follow later in the spring, for returning shooters we will be following a similar format as the winter match minus the snow. Hope to see you all at the range.

I wanted to and initially was scheduled to shoot the 01/30 match but my arthritus started to kick my a$$ as soon as the weather turned cold in the late fall, so I withdrew myself from the roster so as to make room for another competitor. Were you shooting irons in the last match?

I just got the neat little award for second place irons. It was a pleasant surprise- I didn't expect that they'd recognize that in a field of two.
