Saw one of these today at Bart's and I'm intrigued. I have neither a .22 nor a lever gun, so I'm thinking of picking it up. It's got a smooth action and reminds me of a grown up Red Rider. Unfortunately, I'm totally unfamiliar with this class of firearms, so some guidance would be appreciated.
A google search shows that these were built in Germany by Erma and then stamped with the Ithaca name. Henry rimfire repeaters use the same action (the President of Henry invented it as a younger man).
So, does anybody have anything positive or negative to share.
