I ended up selling my Model 10, as I don't want a full sized revolver in .38 Special. If I have to have something that size, I want at least .357 Magnum. After selling said revolver, I discovered one of my local shops had a Taurus 405. Don't start with the Taurus hate, it's a revolver. Anyway, it came with two moon clips, and I'll be buying a few more. The nice thing about this revolver is the cylinder is long enough to hold a 10mm cartridge. I was reminded that I can load out the .40 S&W to 10mm length to get similar ballistics if the leade was long enough in a double-stack .40 1911. I realized I can do this with this revolver. I'll be ordering some 180gr and 165gr Gold Dots (I'm out of them right now) and load them long and see where it goes. The 165s may be a little short for what I want to do, but I know the 180s will work with this. If I can get both of them supersonic, they should make for an excellent SD load.
