America has the highest level of gun ownership in the world, and its highest murder rate as well. Studies show that gun availability is generally correlated to the murder rate.

How many factual errors and outright lies can you find in these two paragraphs? I lost count!

The sad thing is that most people who read this garbage who don't really understand the subject matter probably have no idea they're being fooled..

I've never seen that site before, never seen a reference to it (except in this thread), the material is not dated but seems woefully out of date on 2A thinking.

Pretty weak stuff, I don't know anything about the author or editor(s) but it's hard for me to see anyone taking it seriously. It has a distinctly low-grade feel to it, I doubt any self-respecting anti would cite it.

Definitely dated, I doubt you'll see anyone still (openly) holding to that militia-only theory.

Steve Kangas (born Steven Robert Esh on 11 May 1961, died 8 February 1999) was a journalist, political activist and chess teacher known for his website Liberalism Resurgent [1] and highly political usenet postings[2]. Until 1986 he worked for military intelligence. His stay in Berlin turned him from a conservative into an outspoken liberal militant.[3] His writings were sharply critical of business propaganda of the overclass[4] and CIA[5].
    Death

He died of a gunshot wound under unclear circumstances[6][7]. He was found on the 39th floor in the restroom of the offices of Richard Mellon Scaife[8] inside One Oxford Center, Pittsburgh. It was ruled a suicide by local police.

    Thanks for that link Threeband
