I'm looking to do a mid week trip to the Frederick watershed late in the muzzleloader season and don't want to camp.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good, clean, cheap, hunter friendly motel in that area? I could search online for Motel6, but I don't think some of the smaller/locally owned and operated motels have a website.

You're coming from the eastern shore to the Frederick watershed to hunt?

Yes, I like the shore, and hunt a small private plot along with a lot of public, but I also just like the more hilly areas. It's more like where I started hunting.

Do you have any suggestions on a motel?

Stay at the Hampton on the north side of town and or at the liquor store motel place near Crum land farms. fWIW if you need help I live not to far from mountaindale road. You can hang one at my place till you head back. The watershed is full of deer but it's a hard hunt, harder then what most people are up to now a days

Thanks all. Does anyone have the name of the liquor store motel so i can look up the number?

Trailman, I like the walk in. For me, it is part of the charm, and thanks for the offer.
