    The primer is enough to launch the bullet about a inch in the barrel . Then the next round would or could buldge the barrel :-(

    I'm glad you posted this I have about 700 rnds of that ammo. You can be sure I will be checking them before sticking them in either of my 22s from now on.

    well I got a box from remington today. Openec it up and there was a 525 round box of .22lr inside. :party29:

    Hopefullt these dont have any holes in them.

    Yeah I hate Rem golden bullets. I just found a box at dicks last week that I assume was recently produced... the lead was SO loose on like 90% of the rounds. Some could clearly move around in their cases substantially. Remington has lost my faith in their products completely, guns and ammo both.

    I know this is an old thread but I was at the range today and my gf found a thunderbolt with an identical hole in the casing. Fortunately though it was loaded it only set off the primer and nothing else happened.
