I have the MI SS gen2 and their quad rail with the same attachment. I am not far from you.
My favorite rails right now are fortis rev and geisseles rails, both are awesome.
14" rev with 16" barrel
12" rev with 13.7" barrel
13" geissele smr mk1 rail
Daniel defense mk18 rail is really nice too
I like modular rails. For a rifle, I used JP Enterprises modular hand guard. It uses an inner and outer nut and the rail is tightly held:

For my .300 Blackout, I chose the Daniel Defense Modular Float rail. It fit over the low profile gas block that came with the barrel. It's not coming off because I had the flash suppressor pinned on, so the barrel nut is there for good. The set screws that hold the tube to the nut go in at a 45 degree angle. Seems quite secure.

I sure love your taste in guns. Is that one with the 12" Rev in FDE comfortable to hold and as light as it looks?
as I said ... hand candy
