Check with Gun Connection, that's where I got my Spikes stripped lower. Spikes lowers are awesome.

what kind of weights can i expect between light and regular weight hammer forged as well as the 223 wylde steel?

how much lighter is a 14.7 vs 16 and is the weight worth the loss in accuracy?

within the last day they have gone out of stock on some of the parts i wanted :/

I think you might have things a little mixed up. Wylde is a type of chambering, it allows you to shoot 5.56 (military) ammo and .223 (civilian) ammo. You can shoot .223 out of a 5.56 chamber, but not the other way around. Wylde shoots both.

I used a lightweight 14.5" barrel+permantly attached brake on my last build to bring the total length to a legal 16". It is definitely a noticeable difference in weight and handling compared to a normal 16" barrel. As for accuracy, a shorter barrel doesn't always mean less accurate. It means less velocity. Read up and it will make more sense.

That'll depend on the size of the objective lense of the scope your looking to use.

Personally, on a 16" upper, I'd go with something other than a scope, unless you plan on doing a 1x4 power or something close to that.

    Yeah, that's a picattiny rail.

3x9x40, you should be good with mid, but if your a bigger guy, your cheekweld may dictate you going for high rings.

The info on the scope should specify whether it's a 30mm tube or a 1" tube body.

OK, someone brought this thread up in another thread. I gotta ask: if 5.56 shoots both 5.56 and .223, how is that different from Wylde?
