What the hell is a Firearms Review Committee and who gave them the authority to make decisions that are apparently non-binding guidance that doesn't mean squat but can't be fought?

it also sounds like they need a citizen advocate on their determination board. how far are you from the LD office?
LD is about an hour away from me. But 99% of their problems could be solved via email.

MSPLD: "Someone's sent in a request about the Century C308. It looks like an HK91."
Me: "The Century C308 meets OAL, and does not have two evil features. The C308 is derived from the CETME, but with a slightly altered receiver to take HK91 magazines. However, like the CETME, it does not have 100% parts commonality with the HK91, including in some major areas like the bolt head. It is not banned."
MSPLD: "Great, we'll update the website!"

MSPLD: "Someone's requesting a review of the Uzi 22lr rifle."
Me: "This rifle has basically no parts commonality with the banned Uzi models. It is not banned."
MSPLD: "Great, we'll update the website!"

I could turn this around in about 20 minutes if they would TRUST ME.
