The storm that came thru Bethesda earlier was odd. It had walnut sized rain drops.

As for last night, anytime we miss a severe thunderstorm I am thankful, however I get angry when we miss a snow storm.

Torrential rain, thunder, lightening and quarter sized hail about 15 min ago. Power out, yard has swimming pools. Power tried to come on as I was starting the genny but it was blinking and overvolting so I quick hit the mains before it wrecked anything.

Now a constant light rain with rumblings of thunder. Weather.com expects it to go by after 1900.
