I've been out to Hap Baker and I enjoy my trips out there. Recently I picked up a S&W 460 XVR and was told by the RO's that with iron sights I could only shoot it at the pistol range. I was also told by the same RO that with a scope (or dot-scope) I could shoot it on the rifle range. None of this is specified in their Rules & Regulations.

I ended up putting my Leupold Deltapoint on the 460, its technically a reflex sight but I was hoping a RO from Hap Baker could weigh in and tell me whether I can or cannot shoot it on the rifle range. If not I'll have to find somewhere that I can shoot it at more than 20 yds... I want to stretch its legs!

Sweet, I just want to make sure there's no issues since technically this is a "reflex sight" and not a "dot scope"...

The RO's told me you can stand or go prone at the firing line on the rifle range. I haven't done it yet due to lack of need.
