    Business owner friend of mine had this come back on his Livescan CJIS. Not disqualifying for w/c am I correct ?

    Has not gotten HQL since it’s not required for permit. Figured he’d get the prints and see what comes back. I know they ask about arrests but isn’t it really dependent on convictions? I have no clue and wanted to ask this braintrust on his behalf.

    If the PBJ was for domestic reasons he is disqualified from owning much less carrying, AFAIK.

    He should consult an attorney immediately if that is the case

    This. I think the assault charge makes it illegal for him to even posses a handgun, much less carry one. In MD, even probation for a prohibiting offense makes you a prohibited person.
