GSG 522 Opinions?

Are these any good? CDNN seems to have some good deals going? Just curious from those who own or have owned opinions on value, quality and reliability.

I've heard mixed reviews on the GSGs. I have the HK/Walther MP5 22 and I love it. Those prices on your link are pretty enticing, though.

I have the same, gsg5. Really fun plinker and runs flawless on minimags, 10rd, 22rd,110rd mags all perfect.

I have one (GSG 522) and it ran flawlessly until it got fouled. Fun to shoot, just haven't had a chance to clean and lube it. They come with a crappy plastic scope/red dot rail only fastened with to screws and it wobbles. The good news is that you can get a real HK rail for about $10 and voila! I put an inexpensive Bushnell TRS25 red dot on it and it is very accurate. The stock is pretty light and cheap, but I upgraded to a folding stock which is very good. Its tough to go wrong for $259. I got mine through a dealer for $299 and got a $30 rebate.

A stranger at the range let me shoot his for a bit. It is a fun gun. His had the wood stock and foregrip and I like that look better. Those prices are enticing, but will they sell them to MD?

yes cdnn will sell rifles to MD residents, but some FFLs wont deal with them

Fun plinker. I did the HK conversion to mine (new pins, replaced some of the screws) and it runs like a top...

I have the SD model. Not a true supressor, but it only makes about the same noise as a BB gun. I read somewhere it was being scrutinized by ATF because it was so quiet.
