I thought they did away with the hql requirement for stripped lowers, sbr, and sbs...

No HQL for stripped lowers.

SBS and SBR don't need to be on the roster anymore, but you still need a HQL.

They are handguns and rifles, dontchaknow.

I was going to go ahead and buy a Surefire DSF590 for this but the website says:

Mike had one gun with ghost ring sights that also came with a flashlight forend that I was going to get but it had a pretty large beauty mark on it so I passed. But there is something for it out there.

True, but you'd have to wait until you take delivery to order (hopefully the price is the same then) and the 15% ($37.50) restocking fee sucks.

Dang I didn't check their return policy. My stamp should be (hopefully) coming in soon. I got a new 590 SBS from a local shop and it went pending on October 15th.
