The people that make the CR Speed Belts are coming out with a line of IDPA belts. Very nice from what I saw at their booth at SHOT. The company is based in South Africa and they do have their own website.

I think the easiest and cheapest way would just to take it to a place that does alterations and have them shorten the belt and also add more velcro. I had to do this to one of my volund gear works cobra belts since I lost a lot of weight. I now just wear an ares gear aegis enhanced and it is by far the best belt I've owned. Its also not a PITA to put on like other cobra belts.
